All Out Cricket Women’s Special Hits The iPad

Thanks to the hardworking geniuses in our design department, we’re pleased to announce that All Out Cricket magazine’s groundbreaking women’s special is now available on the iPad absolutely free!

2012 is a massive year for the women’s game, with the ICC World Twenty20 going on right now (England are already in the final, in case you didn’t know), the World Cup and the Ashes all taking place, so there really isn’t a better time to get yourself acquainted with one of the runaway success stories of modern sport. And why not do that very thing whilst whiling away a few hours in the company of your favourite shiny gadget and some of the best cricketers in the world?

There’s certainly plenty of content in there to keep you entertained – it’s got interviews with England captain Charlotte Edwards and star keeper-batsman Sarah Taylor, Isa Guha telling the story of England’s rise to the top of the world, Claire Taylor looking back on her glittering career and Mike Selvey and Lawrence Booth explaining why women’s cricket won them over. There are also interviews with Australia’s Ellyse Perry, India’s Mithali Raj, Stafanie Taylor of West Indies and the legendary Rachael Heyhoe Flint, plus a rundown of the greatest innings ever and coaching masterclasses from the stars of the England squad. If that wasn’t enough, we’ll also tell you how the girls’ game is growing at grassroots level, and how you can get involved. All that, and it won’t cost you a penny – sounds like a decent deal to us…

All you have to do get your hands on this tablet-based goodness is head to iTunes and search for women’s cricket, AOC or any other vaguely related keywords (Apple are good like that). Or, to make it even easier, you could simply click here.

Happy reading!
